What age is the book set for?

Most of our customers buy the book set for children aged 12 and under. Babies and toddlers will enjoy the touching illustrations and repeated phrases, while older children will engage with the ideas more deeply.

That said, there’s no age limit on learning that your voice matters, your feelings are allowed, and you are loved!

Will teaching my child to say “no” make them rude or defiant?

A child can be respectful and still refuse a hug. The book set helps children express themselves, resist pressure, and disagree respectfully. You can still hold firm boundaries around safety, routines, and behaviour — while showing your child that affection isn’t something they owe anyone.

How do the books help teach body boundaries?

How long does each book take to read?
